2 months old

I took Jackson to the Dr. today. Here are his stats:
Length: 23" 51%
Weight: 12 lbs 2 oz 59%
Head circ: 38.9 cm 21%

Basically I have an average kid with a small noggin. I like his small noggin though. I think it fits his body perfectly. Besides big noggin babys look funny.... lol. Jackson also got his first round of shots. The child screamed and screamed. He fell asleep in the car on the way home. He screamed for a good 10-15 minutes. He just doesn't like getting shots. I can't blame the kid. Shots are no fun. It could have been his temper too. The boy has a big temper. Here is an example. If i dont give him his food fast enough he get so upset. When i finally do give him his food he has to calm down before he can drink it. Usually he will scream then eat then get a huge burp. All becuase he just isnt patient enough. I mean it isnt like i am starving the kid. He just thinks that when he decides he is hungry he should get his food that instant. I usually dont take that long. Well he is starting to cry so i better go. Hopefully i will post something tomorrow!

Wow its been a while!

Wow!! It has been a while. I will try to do better at this. I am been writing in my journal every night since November and i think that is my problem. I am going to aim to do better on my blog. A lot has happened the last few months! My husband came home, I had a baby, my husband went back now we are just living life. The birth of Jackson was great. I couldn't have asked for a better birth. We miss Phillip everyday. I am glad to be able to video chat with him almost every day. It is awesome for him to see Jackson ever day too. He has changed so much. Tomorrow is his 2 month check up. I cant believe he is almost two months old. Every day he does something new. I am so happy he is getting out of the slug stage. I love when he smiles at me. His smile brightens my day. He is waking up about 2 times a night to eat. He is a quick eater. He will eat then burp then go back to sleep. He has had gas and acid reflex. I feel so bad for him, when i know he is hurting. I give him his medication regularly. I don't like when my baby is cranky. I am feeling great. I am doing crunches and squats every day. I have 7 more pounds to loose! I gained 40 lbs in my pregnancy. By far the last ten lbs are the hardest. Phillip is doing good. He misses us a lot. I know he cant wait to come home. We finally made it to the half way point.... It is all down hill from here. Or at least that is what everyone says. I am hitting the 6 month rut. I feel like this is never going to end. I hope to get out of this rut soon. I am trying to keep busy with school and being a mom. It is working some days. No matter how busy i am during the day, I always remember at night. Nights are the worst. I miss him laying next to me in bed. I miss cuddling with my husband. I miss just being able to touch him when ever i wanted. I miss being able to call him whenever i wanted. This deployment has been the hardest thing i have ever had to do. Having a baby just makes it harder. I am so glad my husband is getting out of the military. I don't want to do this again. Three deployments is enough. He has done his time for is country. I am ready for the next chapter in our life. Anyways I am going to stop complaining. Not that anyone reads this blog. I will get on here and write more soon!

35 weeks and still kicking

As of yesterday I am now 35 weeks pregnant. I can't believe how time has flown by. It seems like I have been pregnant forever but at the same time it feels like just yesterday I got a positive pregnancy test. I thought I would write down how I am feeling.

1. My big belly - I feel HUGE! I look at pictures and feel even bigger. Picking things off the floor has never been harder. Some times if I drop something I just let it stay there. I know it seems really bad but it is just so hard to get things off the floor. Rolling over in bed now takes 3-4 semi-rolls to get on the other side. I feel like a rollie-pollie. The worst is when i sit down on a comfy couch that just engulfs you. I like sitting there until I have to get up. It then takes me 4 scoots to get to the end of the couch and be able to get out of the engulfing fluffiness around me. When I'm laying on the floor i have to get on all fours then get up. I just feel so big. I have also have had to find a creative way to pee in a cup(sorry TMI). I have to do it every time I go to the doctor. It has been hard since my belly is so big and doesn't move since it is hard. But don't worry I have been very creative and have been doing a good job at it. I get the urine sample one way or another.

2. Swollen fingers and feet - Lets just say I'm just glad my rings still fit. My fingers have gotten so pudgy. It looks like they belong on some one twice my size. My feet are little fat things too. I try to elevate them every day but no matter what I do they are always chubby. My shoes are getting uncomfortable. The best shoes I have found are flip flops. To bad it is getting cold out side. I'm not sure how much longer my feet will be able to fit in my shoes. Good thing I only have 5 weeks left.

3. Cravings - I really haven't had cravings through my pregnancy but this last week I have gotten a few. The latest one is for chocolate no bake cookies. I made them and ate 4!!! It was like a huge wave just hit me and said " you need chocolate no bake cookies NOW".

4. Insomnia - I am exhausted all day long yet I can't sleep at night. I have a hard time getting to sleep then wake up 3-4 times a night. Most the time I wake up because I have to pee. I go to the bathroom come back to bed then Jackson goes crazy. It is like he thinks it is play time or something. He moves, kicks and Summer salts for about 30 minutes. Keeping me up the whole time. I do love feeling him move though. It is the best feeling in the world... I will get in to that later.

5. Peeing all day and night - I spend allot of the time in the bathroom. Some times it feels as if I live in there. It doesn't help that Jackson likes his space. If my bladder gets into "his space" he will head butt it until I relieve my self. A few weeks ago my bladder was full and he headbutted it and made me pee my pants. Thank goodness I was home and able to change my self very quickly. I cant imagine the embarrassment of peeing my pants out in public. I would just tell everyone my water broke ha ha.

6. Jacksons movements, kicks, and hiccups - This is the best pregnancy related thing. It makes all the other symptoms worth being pregnant. I love feeling Jackson move. It is the best feeling in the world. Jackson is a very active boy. Some times he is active for hours at a time. The longest it has been is 3 hours. Of course it was on and off but every few minutes I would feel something. He is big enough now that my whole belly moves when he moves. I have tried to get it on tape for Phillip but Jackson stops moving once I turn the camera on. It is like he knows when to stop. Jackson Is always more active on the days I talk to Phillip. I always know the days I get to talk to him because of Jackson. It is like they are connected. I love that he has this connection with his father even though Phillip is so far away. If I wake up and Jackson is moving, kicking and squirming allot I know that I will get to talk to Phillip. He has always been right too. Jackson loves to kick me in the ribs. It hurts some times. He is going to have running legs just like his dad. Some days he gets his feet wedged up in my ribs. It hurts but at the same time I'm really glad he is moving.Jackson gets the hiccups almost every day. Some times they last 10 minutes some times they last 30. I feel so bad for him when he gets them. It makes my belly jump since he is so big. I love feeling them. It is Jacksons way of telling me he is healthy.

Well that is all I can think of for now. I know it will be worth it in the end when I get to hold my beautiful baby boy for the first time.

I love you, Jackson and can't wait for you to be here. I can't wait to meet you. I know your dad feels the same way. He loves you and misses feeling you move and being near you so very much! He is so excited to met you and being able to hold you. Just remember to come when he is here.

BoBo

Meet Bo-Bo. It is pronounced Bow-Bow not boo-boo. We have decided to name him this because it is easy to say. I really wanted to go to build-a-bear to get a monkey for the baby. Phillip was very embarrassed to be seen in the store. He wanted to get in and out at fast as possible. I wanted to go to build a bear because Phillip could record his voice on a chip. I decided to put the chip in Bo Bo's left hand. All Phillip said was I love you. It turned out very cute. I know this wont replace Phillip during the deployment but I hope it will make the baby used to his voice. Here are pictures. I think Bo Bo might be as big as the baby when he gets here.

Picuture with his berret. Phillip had to make it perfect as you can see.

Its a boy!!!

ITS A BOY!!! (as you can see)

Phillip and I decided to get a gender detection ultrasound since the army wont do one untill im 20 weeks. We decided to do it because phillip deploys July 29 which at that time I will be 22 weeks. We wanted to have more time to buy stuff together then 2 weeks. I am only 16 weeks and the lady that does it said we may not be able to tell since the baby is so small. The closer you are to 20 weeks the more sure you can be. By the end she was very sure it was a boy. She double checked 4 times and had the baby in different positions. It was such a great experiance to see our little one. We went to Baby Expressions. They do 3D, 4D ultrasounds and the 2D gender detection. We payed $65. It was so worth it. The ultrasound tech spent 20 mintues showing us our baby. It was really cool because we had a huge screen that the ultrasound was projected on. It was about 6x6. It was really nice to see our baby. She had me change positions and lay on both my sides so the baby would move. She siad the baby is breech. He has lots of time to move though. He also had his legs folded. He had the cord wrapped up in his legs. At one time he streched out his legs and started kicking. It was really awesome to see. It looked like he was waving with his arms at times. He also sucked his thumb and yawned. He kept moving and turning over. He would also try and tuck his legs close to his body. It was such a great expreince. It was great to find out he was a boy and amazing to see our baby again and see how big he has gotten. Here our the pictures!

First picture we got of his package. You can see his legs and foot

He was trying to strech out in this picutre.

His tiny adorable face

You can see he was tucking his feet up. I love that you can see his feet.

12 weeks

I hit the 12 week mark May 20. The picture was taken on May 23. You can see a difference from my 8 week picture. I feel like I'm getting huge. I have only gained 5 pounds so far. I think i look big from bloating and what not. My pants still fit and i can even button them up. I have a feeling it wont last very long. I have to unbutton them when i sit down. So far I'm feeling very good. I don't get nauseous any more. I have a hard time sleeping, very uncomfortable and i know it will only get worse. The worse thing is i have to pee all the time. I get up 3 times a night to pee.
The cravings aren't to bad just pickles, bubble gum flavoring and Cheerios.

I have a hard time walking by the baby isle at the store with out buying anything. The baby already has 4 onsies and they are all for a boy... We will see in a few weeks if it was a good choice or not.

Phillip is so excited for the baby. He cant stop talking about it. I cant wait tell he can feel the baby kick. I just hope it happens before he deploys in August. One good thing about his leaving is he wont see me when I'm HUGE and SWOLLEN!!!
Here are the Pictures
