Mack-Daddy

Yesterday Phillip and I got a new addition to our family. He is a schnocker. A mix between a Schnauzer and a cocker spainel. Phillip and I have wanted a dog for a while. We both thought it would be a good idea. He already is so much fun. He keeps me company when Phillip is out in the field. He currently is there until the 5th of March. I miss him alot. He gets to come home some times. Only on the weekends and if i'm lucky for a day. We got him at the pet store. He is very energetic. He likes to run and play. He loves to eat. He's coloring is blue meral. Which makes him very pretty. He looks like salt and pepper mixed. He is hypoallergenic which works very well for my allergies. Phillip and I gave him a bath last night. It was pretty funny. He really didn't like it. He was scared of the water coming out of the faucet. Phillip rolled up his pants and jumped in the tub. He got more wet then he wanted. Mack kept shacking the water off. It was so cute. He has quite the personality. He is very timid at times. Then others he runs around like crazy. He is good with children and other dogs already. He is 12 pounds right now and is only going to get to 15-20. We are excited on watching him grow. Im working on potty training him. I didn't realize how hard it is. He has only had one accident and it was on the bathroom floor. I take him out every two hours. At first he didn't like it. Now he LOVES it. He loves jumping and playing in the snow. I think his favorite thing is to eat it. I give him half a treat every time he goes potty. He is catching on to it. I just wonder how he is going to take it when i have to leave for work. Last night me and Phillip put him in the bathroom and shut the door. He wined for 15 minutes then was quite the rest of the night. Hopefully it goes like that always.
