Elections

Alright so I'm finally back again!!!! things around here have been finally winding down a little bit now that the Iraqi elections are over. so my sergeant and I were out walking around post yesterday and we ran into one of the interpreters and he went on for like 5 minutes about how grateful he was to have us here because this has been the first election were there have been no attacks by terrorists. There wasn't anything it was quiet all day long everyone got to vote and everybody is very grateful for us being here to help them get to this point. Maybe someday in the near future we can leave this country and let them take care of themselves. ANYWAY in other news i have been doing well and am just getting ready to go home and get married. Also i bought another gun for home security purposes and its AWESOME!!...... even though i haven't actually seen it yet in person. i just wanted to share that with everyone because i am very excited about it. so Katherine and i are finally narrowing down our temple and i think its going to be Draper but I'm not 100% sure yet. she has successfully gotten the paper for the invitations and she has made the little sign in book, it looks incredible. Katherine is doing great she bore her testimony in church yesterday and i am sure it was beautiful, i just wish i could have been there to hear it. I have been reading my scriptures and keeping a secret journal that lives in my truck so that one day my children can read all about my fun times in Iraq. alright so i am out of time i got to go to work but i promise i will be on here more regularly.
